Nicholas
trained in Osteopathic Medicine at the British School of Osteopathy in London
and obtained a first class honours degree in
During his training he wrote special papers in the History of medicine
and on innate athleticism in Afro-Caribbean sprinters.
Having qualified he was a clinical tutor and helped to run the Sports
injuries clinic at the British School of Osteopathy.
He currently has three busy practices in London and specialises in
sports injuries and rehabilitation, as well as cervical spine injuries and the
causes of cervicogenic headache and migraine. He is a registered expert witness
for medico-legal cases and personal injury litigation.
He is also consultant to a healthcare company and is currently setting
up a human performance and biomechanical assessment facility for them in London,
catering for elite athletes and sportspeople with a new internet and intranet
patient database, records and retention program.
He is an active member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association and
the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine.
He lectured for two years on sports injuries and their prevention and
treatment on a modular course with Fitness for Industry
for advanced fitness instructors.
He regularly lectures to doctors on manipulative medicine.
He is fully trained in myofascial acupuncture.
