Tim trained as a physical education specialist at St Lukes College, University of Exeter, and as a physiotherapist at Bristol School of Physiotherapy.

He has more than 15 years experience of treating both sports injuries and spinal conditions, having worked extensively with the police service, the general public, and elite sportsmen and women.

He was formerly physiotherapist to British Triathlon for seven years, developing a particular expertise in the genesis, treatment and prevention of low back pain in runners, cyclists, and multi-sport athletes. He continues to work closely with UK:Athletics and the English Institute of Sport treating elite and professional athletes from a wide variety of sports.

Tim joined the London Spine Clinic at the start of 2006, and specialises in treatment and rehabilitation for acute and chronic low back pain.
